A 26-year-old man who died following a road traffic accident in Wicklow over the weekend has been named locally.
Niall Lynham from Laragh, was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a tourist bus at lunchtime on Friday.
He was airlifted from the scene at Ballymacrow Hill in Ashford and taken to Tallaght hospital but was pronounced dead yesterday evening.
A woman, who was his only passenger, was taken by ambulance to Saint Vincent's University hospital, however her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The bus was carrying 40 American tourists on their way to visit Glendalough - it's understood no one on the bus was injured during the incident.
