A man has died after getting into difficulty in the water in County Kerry.
Gardaí said the man, aged in his 50s, fell into the water from a boat at Cromane Bay near Kilorglin in County Kerry yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called to the area at around 10pm.
The man was pulled from the water and pronounced dead a short time later.
It is the fourth water-related death in Ireland in the past week.
The man's remains were removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Kerry.
A file will now be prepared for the coroner.
The Irish Coastguard is urging people to take extra care around the water as the hot weather continues.
