Gardaí in Co Wexford are investigating a two-vehicle road collision in which a man died.
It happened at 7.25am on Friday morning at Ballymackesy, around four miles from Enniscorthy.
A male driver aged in his 50s, who was the only person in the viehicle, died when his van was in collision with a truck.
The male driver of the truck was uninjured.
The man's body has been removed to University Hospital in Waterford, where a post mortem examination will take place.
The local coroner has been notified
The road has been closed to facilitate a Garda forensic examination, and local diversions are in place.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
