A man has died after being assaulted outside a pub in Co Longford.
On Thursday Gardai were called to the premises in Foigha at around 5:30pm.
Outside they found a man in his 50s who had been seriously assaulted.

He was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, but died on Sunday afternoon from his injuries.
A man in his 30s, was arrested on Thursday a short time after the incident.
He appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Saturday morning.
Gardai say a post mortem will be carried out on the deceased man's body on Monday.
The local Coroner has been notified.
