A man has been killed in a collision in Co Wexford.

The two car collision happened on the N11 between Enniscorthy and Ferns at around 11pm last night.

The man who died was the driver of one of the cars, and a woman who was a passenger, has been taken to Wexford General Hospital for treatment.

Part of the road between the Scarawalsh roundabout and Ferns has been closed for a forensic examination.
