A man in his 60s has passed away following a road traffic collision in Navan, County Meath.
The man was walking at Flowerhill Road when the incident happened at around 10.40pm last night.
His body's been removed from the scene and taken to the Mortuary in Our Lady's Hospital, Navan.
The male driver of the car, also aged in his 60s, was uninjured.
The road at Flowerhill is closed this morning for a technical investigation, and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, particularly those with video footage.
