A man has died following a crash involving a van and articulated lorry in Co Limerick early this morning.
Shortly after 1:30am, emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on the slip road at junction 30 of the M7 motorway, Rossbrien (Cork Exit).
Gardaí say it's understood the lorry was stationary at the time of the crash.
The driver of the van - a man in his 40s - was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body has been taken to University Hospital Limerick.
The lorry driver was not injured.
Gardaí say the road remains closed this morning to allow for a forensic examination of the scene.
