An 18-year-old man has died after a road crash in Co Down.

He died following a single vehicle collision on the Hilltown Road in Kilcoo just before 2.30am on Saturday.

He was travelling in a blue coloured Volkswagen Bora with four other young people.

The two men and two women were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.

One of the men is described as being in a critical condition.

The PSNI is appealing to anyone who was traveling on the Hilltown Road early Saturday morning and who may have seen this blue Volkswagen prior to the collision, or anyone who has dash-cam footage which could assist with the investigation, to contact them.
