A man has died after he was struck by a LUAS tram in Dublin.
The incident, which occurred in Broomsbridge in Cabra, resulted in the pedestrian being fatally injured.
Shortly after 1am this morning, Sunday, the man in his 50s was hit by a tram.
Emergency services attended the scene, but he later passed away.
A post mortem is due to take place in the City Morgue, while forensic investigators have carried out a technical examination of the scene.
The Luas operator says there will temporarily be no service between Dominick and Broombridge.
