A man in his 50s has died following a road crash in Dublin.

The collision between a lorry and a pedestrian happened at the junction of Arran Quay and Church Street shortly after 3pm.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have conducted a technical examination of the scene and the road has now fully reopened to traffic.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this collision to come forward.
