A man in his 20s has died following a single-vehicle collision in Lisselton, Co Kerry.
Gardaí said the crash between a taxi and a pedestrian occurred in at 2am on Sunday, September 24th, on the R553 at Ballydonohoe, Lisselton near Ballybunion.
The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene a shortly after emergency services arrived. His body has been brought to University Hospital Kerry.
The driver, a man in his 40s, did not require immediate medical treatment.
The scene of the crash remains closed for investigation. Local diversions are in place.
Anyone with camera footage - including dash-cam - and were travelling from the R553 between Ballybunion and Listowel last night are asked to make it available to Gardaí.
