A man has been killed in a farm accident near Tralee in Co. Kerry.

It is understood the man was aged in his 50s and died in an incident involving a tractor.

It happened near his home in Kielduff at around 11am this morning.

Gardaí and paramedics attended the scene.

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is investigating.
