A man in his 20s has died following a car crash in Foulkstown, Co Kilkenny. 

The crash happened around 3.25am this morning, February 17th, on the N10 in Foulkstown. 

The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

His body has been transferred to the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital, where a post-mortem will be conducted. 

A technical examination was conducted this morning, and the road has been reopened. 

Gardaí in Kilkenny are appealing for witnesses of the crash to come forward. 

They are particularly interested in talking to anyone who was travelling on the road at the time and may have dash cam footage.
