A cyclist has died after he was hit by a Luas tram in Dublin.
Gardaí said it happened on Charlemont Bridge at Peter’s Place at around 3am this morning.
The Charlemont stop is between Harcourt and Ranelagh on the Green Line.

The tram was operating as part of the Luas Christmas Night Service.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been removed to the City Morgue in Whitehall.
The Green line was closed for a time this morning but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone that witnessed the collision or may be able to help with their investigation to come forward.
