A man in his 30s has died after he crashed his motorbike into a parked car in County Tipperary.

Gardaí said it happened on the Ballinderry road just outside Puckane at around 7:40pm last night.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the morgue at University Hospital Limerick.

A postmortem examination is due to be carried out.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

They are particularly interested in talking to drivers who were in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage to contact them.

The investigation is ongoing.
