A man has died after a road crash in Co Donegal.
The incident, which involved a single car, happened at Three Trees in Quigley's Point at around 4.00am on Monday morning.
Emergency services and the Coast Guard attended the scene.
The driver, a man aged in his mid-30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to the mortuary at Letterkenny University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The Muff/Moville road (R238) has been closed for Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Local diversions were put in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information regarding this incident - particularly any road users with camera footage who were travelling the Muff/Moville road between 3.00am and 4.30am - to contact Buncrana Garda station on 074-932-0540, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800-666-111 or any Garda station.
