A man in his late 70s has died following a house fire in Waterford.
Shortly before 5am, emergency services attended the scene of the fire at Balleytruckle Court in Waterford city.
The blaze was brought under control by local firefighters.

The body of the man has been removed from the house and taken to Waterford University Hospital.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out on the body.
Gardaí say foul play is not currently suspected.
