A 26-year-old man has died after a car slipped off a pier in Co Donegal.
Gardaí were called to the scene of the incident at Poolawaddy Pier in Arranmore at around 5.10am this morning.
Two men were in the vehicle when it entered the water.

A 30-year-old man managed to escape and make his way to the shore.
The other man drowned and his body has been removed to Letterkenny University Hospital.
A post mortem examination will take place on his body tomorrow.
Gardaí say that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
