A 20-year-old man is due in court later charged in connection with an attempted abduction in Dublin.
A woman managed to escape after a man tried to forced her into the boot of a car earlier this week.
During Monday morning rush hour at around 7.30am, a woman aged in her 60s was approached by a man in the Martin's Grove/Blackhorse Avenue area near the Phoenix Park.
He tried to force her into the boot of a car.
She managed to escape and the driver fled the scene.
On Tuesday, a 20-year-old man was arrested - but was released from custody on Wednesday morning.
He was re-arrested on Wednesday evening when investigating officers went to the District Court and applied for a warrant.
The man is due in the Criminal Courts of Justice later today.
