A man is due in court this morning charged over a public order incident at Dublin’s GPO yesterday.
The city centre landmark was closed for the evening yesterday after a man allegedly entered the premises armed with a knife.
Reports suggest the man was disarmed by Gardaí and arrested.

No members of staff or customers were injured.
In a statement this morning, Gardaí said they arrested a man in his 50s following a “public order incident” at the GPO yesterday afternoon.
They said the man is due to appear before the courts this morning.
