A man in his 30s is due before a special sitting of the Wexford District Court tonight in connection with the death of a man in New Ross.
58-year-old John O'Connor was found at his home shortly after 11am on Tuesday by Gardaí and emergency services.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardaí launched a murder investigation following the results of a post-mortem.
A man in his 30s was arrested as part of the investigation and remains in Garda custody.
Gardaí said he will be charged at tonight's special sitting of the Wexford District Court.
Another person who was arrested yesterday has been released and is no longer being held in connection with the investigation.
Gardaí continue to appeal to anyone with information on the case to get in touch.
