/> A man in his 40s is due to appear before a special court sitting tonight, in connection with a head on collision in which two Gardai were injured yesterday.
The incident happened in Castletroy in Limerick when two female gardai responded to an alert about a domestic dispute.
As their unmarked Garda patrol car entered the area it’s alleged they were rammed by another vehicle.

One of the gardai sustained injuries to her neck and back.
The driver of the car that collided with the patrol car is to be charged in connection with the incident at 8 o’clock tonight.
