A man has been extradited to Ireland from Hungary over alleged child pornography offences.
Gardaí arrested the man at Dublin Airport on Friday, following his extradition from Budapest.
He was arrested there on December 11th on foot of a European Arrest Warrant for offences committed here.
He was sought by An Garda Síochána for alleged offences under the Child Trafficking and Pornography Act 1998.
The investigation involved close cooperation between An Garda Síochána, Hungarian authorities and other partners of the European Network Fugitive Active Search Teams (ENFAST).
The man is being transferred to Killarney Garda station where he will be processed.
He is set to appear before Limerick Circuit Court on Monday morning.
