Ms McKee was shot dead during rioting in Creggan in April.
Police said the 29-year-old journalist was wounded after a single gunman opened fire in the housing estate.
She was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
A group claiming to be the 'New IRA' has since claimed responsibility.
