Gardaí are appealing for information after a serious assault in Dublin.
A 39-year-old man, who was cycling on Swans Nest Road in Kilbarrack, was hit by a car.
It happened at around 10.30am on Saturday morning.
A number of men then got out of the car - described as a black saloon - and assaulted the injured man with weapons.
The men then left the scene in this car.
The injured man was taken to Beaumont Hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
Gardaí are appealing for any person who witnessed the incident, or with information, to contact Raheny Garda station on 01-666-4300 or the Garda Confidential Line at 1800-666-111.
Officers are also seeking any drivers of vehicles or cyclists with dash cam footage who were in the Kilbarrack area at this time to contact them.
