A man has been hospitalised after a robbery on Dublin's Talbot Street this morning.

Gardaí were called to the scene shortly before 11.30am this morning.

The man in his 40s was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers say the scene has been examined and the investigation is continuing.
