One man has been arrested and another taken to hospital after a violent fight broke out in Dublin Airport last night.

Footage of the brawl has been widely shared on social media.

The footage appears to show two men fighting in the airport terminal over a two-minute period.

One of the men is then attacked by a third man and falls to the ground. People can be heard screaming as he is kicked and stamped on before being dragged away by onlookers.

In a statement, Gardaí said one man has since been taken to Beaumont hospital in Dublin for treatment.

Meanwhile, a man in his 20s was arrested and taken to Swords Garda Station.

He has since been charged and is due to appear before Swords District Court on June 14th.
