A man in his 20s has been hospitalised following an assault in Dublin overnight.
It happened shortly after 12.30am at a premise in Ongar.
The man was taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, to be treated for serious injuries.

The scene of the incident is currently preserved for technical examination and investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
