A man has been hospitalised following a public order incident outside Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport today. 

Gardaí said they and emergency services attended a public order incident at the airport earlier today. 

A man in his 50s was taken from the scene to Beaumont Hospital to be treated for injuries, believed to be a stabbing.

Another man in his 50s has been arrested and detained at a north Dublin Garda station. 

A spokesperson for daa said flights are operating normally to and from Dublin Airport. 

Traffic near the drop-off ramp is being locally diverted, while passengers are being directed away from the scene.
