A man has been hospitalised following a serious road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car in Kilkenny yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:10pm, Saturday 12th August 2023, on the N76 at Cuffesgrange in between Kilkenny City and Callan in County Kilkenny.
The male car driver was taken to St Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny with serious injuries – no other injuries have been reported.
Gardaí in Kilkenny are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N76 in the Cuffesgrange area between 1:45pm and 2:30pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
