A man in his 50's has died after being hit by a car in Co. Fermanagh.

The incident happened at around then to three this morning on the Tullychurry Road, in Leggs.

The PSNI believe the man was struck by a car which failed to stop at the scene. They are appealing to anyone who noticed a blue Ford Focus car which they say will have front end damage to contact them.

The road remains closed this afternoon as an examination of the scene continues.
