A man is due before court later charged in connection with a violent death in the capital.
The body of the middle-aged victim – Christopher Jackson - was found in Dublin city centre over the weekend.
Gardaí have made a number of arrests.
A 39-year-old man is due to appear before Dublin District Court this morning charged in relation to the murder of Mr. Jackson.
Mr. Jackson who was aged in his 50s was found dead in an apartment on Prussia Street in Stoneybatter on Saturday.
It is understood he died violently probably after being stabbed but post mortem results have yet to confirm that.
Two other people remain in Garda custody.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s were arrested over the weekend.
They are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
