A man in his 30s has been found dead at a house in County Clare.

Gardaí and emergency services discovered the body after they were called to the scene on Clare Road in Ennis yesterday afternoon.

The body has since been removed to the mortuary in University Hospital Limerick where a postmortem will take place.

Gardaí say the results of the postmortem will determine the course of their investigation.

A file will then be prepared for the Coroner’s Court.

The Garda investigation is ongoing.
