A man in his 60s has died after being stabbed in Dublin overnight.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances around the incident, which happened at around 11:50pm last night at a house in the Carriglea View estate in Firhouse.
The man’s body remains at the scene.
Another man, aged in his 30s, and has been arrested and is being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
A technical examination is due to be carried out at the scene and a post-mortem examination will take place later today.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information or who was in the area between 11:30pm and 12:30am last night to come forward.
