A man is in a serious condition in hospital after a Co. Meath crash in the early hours of this morning.
The single-vehicle collision happened at Cooksland on the Dunshaughlin to Navan Road – or the N3 – at about 4:45am around 1 kilometre outside Dunshaughlin.
The 23-year-old female driver of the car and her passenger – a 24-year-old man – were taken to hospitals in Navan and Blanchardstown for treatment.
The injuries of the woman are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road is closed for a forensic collision examination and diversions are in place.
