A 21-year-old man has been injured in a botched shooting in north Dublin. 

The shooting happened at about 9.30pm at Moatview Avenue in Coolock. 

The victim suffered a single gunshot wound to the leg and was rushed to Beaumont Hospital. 

However, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. 

Gardaí in Coolock are now investigating the attack and have sealed-off the scene for a full forensic examination.
