A man in his 30s was treated for injuries following an explosion at Hyde Road, Limerick City, today.
Gardaí said they attended the scene of an “explosion of a viable device” in two residential properties at approximately 3.10am this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and one man was treated for injuries to his arm that were not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Anyone who was in the Hyde Road area of Limerick City between 2.30am and 3.15am this morning and has camera footage - including dash cam - is asked to make this available to Investigating Gardaí.
