A man has been hospitalised after a shooting attack in County Wicklow.
It happened at around 10pm on Tuesday at Ballinahinch in Roundwood.
Gardaí say the man, aged in his 20s, was one of two people travelling in a car when they were blocked in by another vehicle and a gun was fired.
The man suffered several wounds and later presented at hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
They are also asking anybody who observed the movements of a silver Mercedes Benz that travelled from Roundwood onto Newtownmountkennedy and then northbound on the N11 into the Dublin 4 area between 10pm and 11pm on Tuesday night to contact them.
Gardaí are urging anyone who was travelling in the Roundwood area between 9:30pm and 10:30pm on Tuesday July 23rd to come forward.
They are particularly interested in talking to road users who were travelling in the area at the time and may have camera footage.
