A man is being treated in hospital after a stabbing in North Dublin last night.

It happened outside a house on the Glin Road in Coolock at about 11 pm - when a man (29) suffered a number of stab wounds.

He was taken by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The scene is preserved for a technical examination and gardaí are calling for anyone with information to come forward.
