A man’s been jailed for trying to blackmail Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone into paying for his wedding and buying a house.

Martin Peckham invented a fake kidnap plot involving the millionaire’s daughter Tamara.

The 41-year-old, of Silverthorne Close in Colchester, said he was a security specialist who could prevent Tamara’s kidnap for £200,000.

He’s been jailed for 5 years.
