Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision Co.Clare that's claimed the life of a man in his 60s.

The single vehicle incident occurred at around 8 o'clock this evening at Clounlaheen East in Mullagh,close to Miltown Malbay.

The victim was fatally injured when the tractor he was driving left the road and overturned.

The road at the scene is closed so that Garda forensic investigators can carry out an examination of the area.
