A man has died following a two-vehicle crash on the N7 in County Dublin.

The incident occurred around 9am this morning between Junctions 4 and 5 and involved a car and a truck.

A passenger in the car, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car has been treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The stretch of road is currently closed to allow for a Garda technical examination, and local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are asking any witnesses to the crash to come forward, particularly those with dash cam footage.
