A man in his 20's has died following a collision in Co Down yesterday.
The crash happened in county Down last night, when a man in his 20's died following a single-vehicle crash on the Ballywalter to Greyabbey Road just before 8.30pm.
Four other men -who were travelling in the same van-were taken to hospital for treatment, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the PSNI.
In a separate incident overnight- two men are in a serious condition following a single vehicle collision in Co. Meath. It happened at approximately 4am on the Oldcastle to Virginia Road at Fennor Upper.
A car collided with a wall and the two men -in their 20's- were taken by ambulance to Cavan General Hospital where their injuries are described as serious.
The road is closed and local diversions are in place. Anyone who was travelling on the road - between 3.30am and 4.15am - is asked to contact Kells Garda Station.
Yesterday, a 62 year-old pedestrian died following a collision on James Street in Dublin while, a 19 year-old man died following a two-car crash in Whitegate in Cork on Friday evening.
