A man in his 50s has been killed in a crash in County Wexford.
The crash happened when the man's motorbike crashed in Barntown shortly before a quarter past six yesterday evening.
He was killed in the single-vehicle collision on the R738 at Knockeen.
The man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
No-one else was injured.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are to carry out a technical examination of the scene today.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
