Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a road crash in Co. Roscommon. 

The man in his late 50s died, when the lorry he was driving collided with another lorry at around 5pm this morning, on the N5 between Tulsk and Ballinagar.

The driver of the other lorry was a man in his early 40s. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries. 

The stretch of road is currently closed near Tulsk as Gardai carry out a technical examination of the scene. Diversions are in place.
