A man has died following a serious crash in Co Kerry yesterday evening.
The man - who's in his 30’s was killed when the van he was driving lost control and collided with a tree near Beaufort just after 7 o'clock.
He was the only occupant of the van and was removed to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee where he was later pronounced dead.
The death brings to three the number of people that have been killed on our roads this bank holiday weekend.
Yesterday, a motorcyclist in his late 20's and a woman in her 80's were killed when a motorcycle and car collided on the Athy to Ballitore Road in Kildare.
The driver of the car - a man in his 80's - remains in hospital with serious injuries.
