A Donegal man charged with dangerous driving causing the deaths of eight people in Inishowen in 2010 has pleaded guilty.

Shaun Kelly (25) of Hill Head in Buncrana, initially pleaded not guilty this morning but then changed his plea, as his trial was about to start.

Mr Kelly has been released on his bail until December 9th.

Irish Independent journalist Stephen Maguire was in court.

He says Judge O'Hagan asked the relatives of those killed in the crash to compile one victim impact statement per family.
