A man (35) has been remanded on bail after being charged over a drugs seizure worth €250,000 in Co. Cork.

Vincent O'Brien from the Boyne, Rathcormack in Co. Cork was charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of cannabis at Kilclough, Vicarstown in Blarney, Co. Cork on April 1st.

Gardai had no objection to bail and Judge Con O'Leary remanded Mr. O'Brien on his own bail of €10,000.

He will appear again at Cork District Court on May 15th.
