A 33-year-old has been remanded in custody until charged with the murder of his wife.
Michael McDonagh of 54 College Manor in Dundalk was charged last week with the murder of Jacqueline McDonagh.
He appeared at Cloverhill District Court this morning.
The mother-of-3 was found with multiple injuries to her body in her rented home in the early hours of August 29th.
A post mortem examination revealed she had been beaten to death.
He was remanded until October 5th.
Mr. McDonagh was arrested by investigating officers last Thursday.
