A man's been rescued after falling overboard from a ferry off Rosslare in Co Wexford.

It happened at around twenty past six this evening.

Rosslare coastguard and RNLI lifeboat were tasked, along with the coastguard helicopter based in Waterford.

The ferry from which the man fell, along with another ferry in the vicinity, launched their rescue craft and the man was located.

He was taken by ambulance to Wexford General Hospital, where he's said to be suffering from shock.
